SCOTRACO

SCOTRACO The Syrian crude oil transportation Company (SCOTRACO ) was established according the legislative decree no /9/ of year 1974. For separation of petroleum companies, enjoying an official consolidated personality with administrative and financial independence within the connection to the ministry of petroleum and mineral rescues.

Additionally, ASCO is registered in United Nation as a prove vendor for food for oil program. Therefore, we have established and maintained a good relationship with North Oil Company and South Oil Company in Iraq through the UN.

 
SPC

SPC Syrian petroleum company ( SPC ) is One of the Companies affiliated to the Ministry of oil and mineral resources.

SPC has been established on 1958 , in vertue of legislative decree No 9 for the year 1974.

The Tasks of this Company has been defined to carry out all works aiming at exploration of oil resources and their investments and developing in the country, through preforming the necessary study works for searching of Gas and oil starting from seismic survey operations , explorative, development, production and marketing works for oil and Gas.

 
DEZPC

DEZPC operating company was established on 30/9/1990 as a Joint Operating Company, as per the Service Contract ratified by the Law no. 27 of 1988 and signed between the government of the Syrian Arab Republic and the Syrian Petroleum Company (SPC) on one hand, and Elf Hydrocarbures Syrie Company (EHS) on the other hand, which was a subsidiary of the French Group Elf Aquitaine, and is now part of the TotalFinaElf Group, as TotalFinaElf E & P Syrie.

 
AFPC

AFPC was established on 01/05/1985 as a joint venture stock company of Syrian Arab Republic nationality . The company was established as a consequence of Commercial oil finds by foreign companies in the Deir Ez Zor area . These foreign companies carried out the works of exploration, starting in 1977, according to the service contract number 210 concluded between the Syrian Arab Republic's Government and the Syrian Petroleum Company ( SPC) and ratified by law number 43 dated 12th October 1977. The external shareholders are currently represented by Shell International and Veba Oil.

Objectives
has clearly defined corporate objectives and strategies , some of these are:

  • Develop the discovered Fields using latest international technology
  • Maximize the economic recovery of Hydrocarbons from discovered oil fields
  • Maintain high rates of oil production for as long as possible
  • Develop and train National staff to enable the company to replace expatriate staff
